Prices include an assessment of individual needs and preferences, custom-tailored menu selection, shopping for groceries, food preparation, packaging and labeling, cleaning up afterwards, and heating instructions.

Standard Service:

These prices are all-inclusive. They include the cost of service and food. Each meal consists of a main entree and one side dish.
 
5 meals for 4 people (20 servings) = $380
5 meals for 2 people (10 servings) = $330
4 meals for 4 people (16 servings) = $310
4 meals for 2 people (8 servings)   = $270
3 meals for 4 people (12 servings) = $230
3 meals for 2 people (6 servings)   = $210*

*Minimum service.

Additional servings beyond 4 (people)= $10 extra per meal per extra person (e.g., inthe 5-meal package, an extra person=$50).

Container Fee. Depending on the service you request, you can pay a one-time fee for reusable containers or $15 per session for disposable containers. Reusable containers can be glass Pyrex (or similar), which will require a $100 deposit. This amount generally covers a set of 8 to 10 containers. Any unused amount will be refunded to you and any additional pieces that are required, costing more than $100, will be added to your second payment. You may also choose reusable plastic containers, the cost of which is $50.

The reason for a container fee (which all personal chefs charge) is to ensure:

a) that proper and sufficient containers are available to package all entrees and side dishes,
b) easy and proper storage in the refrigerator or freezer, and
c) that containers seal properly and securely.

Other Services:

  • Entrees/No Sides, 4 servings each:

          3 entrees = $250
          4 entrees = $285
          5 entrees = $325

  • Requests for organic ingredients, premium or gourmet meals (such as filet mignon, lobster, etc.), Kosher or other expensive cuts of meat or fish will be charged as follows: $280 for services for the day plus cost of food, regardless of how many meals are chosen, up to a maximum of 5 entrees per session. For additional entrees, please call for a price. 
  • Prices listed above are for standard service. Any special requests not outlined above will be charged on a case-by-case basis. (This includes special diets, such as Atkins, Zone, or other ingredient-specific meal plans.)
  • Extras are charged as follows:
    • Salads: $5 extra per serving (6 servings=$30, 8 servings=$40, etc.)
    • Extra side dishes or appetizers: $20 per dish.
    • Desserts: $25 per dessert (Generally, these will be enough for all the servings you requested. For something specific, ask for a price.)
  • For parties and other special occasions or events, please e-mail or call for a price.

Manhattan Residents Please Note: While I try very hard to find parking on the street, in many areas of Manhattan this is virtually impossible. In the event that I have to park in a lot, the lot fee will be passed on to the client. If it is determined that regular (weekly/monthly) parking in a lot is necessary, the fee will be built right into the client's regular payments. Lot fees vary throughout the city.

Add up all the money you spend on restaurants and take-out food, including taxes, tips, parking fees, etc. In the end, you get a better deal with a personal chef. Best of all, your dining experience will be the way you want it to be!!
