My cookbook has been picked up by a traditional publisher!! Woohoo!! It will be out (hopefully) by the end of this month. Just in time for Christmas shopping!
 
I have a few copies left that I can sell for $15 (verus $22-24 at booksellers). If anyone's interested, drop me an email and I'll be happy to arrange shipment.
 
This business of writing is indescribable, isn't it? I have learned that unless you are a writer, you simply do not understand what it means to be one--how it affects your time, your life, your family--and how it becomes a part of your soul. So, herein I hope to offer my fellow writers some good stuff from the world of writing for support, encouragement, and relief.

No matter what career delusions I've had over the years, the one thing that I always go back to, that has never left me, is writing. It's the thing that has kept me going at every soul-shriveling job I've ever had. I tell myself that that work isn't my real work, it's just the job that pays my bills. My writing is my real work.
